Private Youth Mental Health First Aid training for your team.

Evidence-based professional development that extends beyond a certificate.

Youth Mental Health First Aid focuses on mental health literacy and early intervention, equipping any adult to support a young person who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

This course is fundamental for any adult who supports a young person!

What the course covers

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an education course that teaches adults about adolescent development and the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems in young people, including crisis situations.

Topics covered include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

Your team will learn how and where to get help when a young person is developing a mental illness, what research has shown to be effective and how to provide first aid in crisis situations.

  • We sure can! We love supporting the community, so we can book a suitable space close to your main office, or in a central location for your team.

However, this would incur a fee - the room booking and an administration charge.
