Youth Mental Health First Aid

A training course that extends beyond a certificate.

Adolescence is a time for monumental development.

It's also when mental health problems emerge.

This is where the Youth Mental Health First Aid training can help!

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a nationally accredited training program that teaches adults how to recognise the signs of mental health problems in young people, start a supportive conversation, and connect them with professional help early. This course is fundamental for a parent, teacher, youth worker, employer, sports coaches... simply, any adult who supports a young person!

Similar to how physical first aid helps someone with an injury, mental health first aid helps someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis.
