Welcome to

BARE WELLBEING SERVICE

An authentic space to heal and grow your true self.

Bare

“Bare” is the concept of being without cover or decoration. It’s raw, vulnerable, and authentic.

To show your bare self is like being in a therapy room, where you’ll explore your inner and outer world without a facade.

Wellbeing

“Wellbeing” symbolises your overall health. This includes mental and emotional balance, physical health, social connectedness, and sense of purpose.

To be well is to achieve balance and fulfilment in life.

The lotus flower represents enlightenment, resilience, and rebirth. This unique plant grows in muddy waters and its beauty blossoms through the murky surroundings.

Our approach

We know accessing mental health support is challenging, or maybe you're just not sure how to have these conversations with people who may be struggling.

Here, at Bare Wellbeing Service, we offer transparent services to help you or help you support others.

  • We offer training courses to build the general public’s ‘mental health toolkit’ by increasing knowledge and skills to support someone struggling with mental illness.

This is great for family members, educators, friends, groups, and communities.

  • We offer consulting services to support professionals to develop their skills in working with people struggling with mental illness.

Please contact us to learn more.

Meet Claudia Ricciotti

Registered Clinical Counsellor, Provisional Psychologist, & Licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor

Hi there, I'm Claudia. Founder of Bare Wellbeing Service... oh, and dog-mum to Ben.

I support my clients to become the person they want to be by changing their perspective and relationship with themselves. Often, my clients are stuck in a pattern of unhelpful thoughts, living a life they don’t want to live, or doing things that don’t align with their values. Change (even small change) is essential to becoming the person they want to be - nothing changes if nothing changes.

  • I had a tough childhood and needed a kind, supportive, and passionate clinician I could rely on for support. I never found that person, so I knew my calling was to be that clinician for others.

  • I have the privilege of supporting so many different people through their mental health struggles. It’s very hard for me to narrow ‘favourite problems’ into a list, but these are the presentations I feel most confident supporting:

    • Adolescents and adults

    • School avoidance, bullying, social exclusion

    • Anxiety disorders (incl. worry, stress, burnout, perfectionism, phobias, obsessive-compulsive)

    • Mood disorders (depression)

    • Borderline personality disorder (BPD)

    • Emotional dysregulation (‘mood swings’, difficulty managing big emotions)

    • Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

    • Trauma and adverse childhood experiences

    • Supervising or consulting with other helping professionals

  • I pride myself on being a flexible clinician with a wide range of therapeutic modalities in my practice. Here’s my qualifications:

    • Registered Clinical Counsellor through the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)

    • Provisional Psychologist through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

    • Licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor

    • Masters-level specialty in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

    • Advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

    • Training in Schema Therapy, Single Session Therapy (SST), and Single Session Family Consultation (SSFC)

In regards to my university training, here’s the degrees I have completed:

    • Master of Professional Psychology (MProfPsy), Monash University, Current

    • Master of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MCBT), Flinders University, 2019

    • Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) (GDipPsych(Adv)), University of Adelaide, 2023

    • Graduate Diploma in Psychology (GDipPsych), University of Adelaide, 2022
